Windy

We are being hit by what remains of Hurrican Gonzalo, our house is east facing so very sheltered but I took a trip a couple of miles down the road to the west facing coast and could hardly stand up.

I tried to photograph some trees on long exposure moving in the wind but I preferred this view of the yachts down at Crinan harbour. They were getting a battering by the wind. I certainly would not like to have a big heap of money floating around the bay in that weather. A few dingys were over turned at Crinan harbour and a boat pulled off it's mooring in Oban but apart from a few trees down I didn't see any more damage.

Look at the angles of the yachts to see how much they are moving. I liked the contrast with the dark sky beyond.
