Chania

Postcard from Crete 9

The romance in me (there's not much of that) liked this image of the horse and trap on the edge of Chania harbour. We did not pay our 20 euro to have a tour in her but it would have been a romantic thing to do.

Chania is the capital of Crete and we really liked this old town. Loads of little winding streets set back from the pretty venetian harbour. Lots of interesting little shops, along with places to eat and boutique hotels. It would make a great destination of a couple for a few days of relaxation.
