Excitement at the dog park
We hunted this with our bare hands.
No we didn't. Sari found it next to the dog park and brought it to the trash bin. Poor rabbit. He didn't seem to have any injuries. Perhaps he'd been frightened to death. He was cold, but not yet stiff. That was a hard thing to watch. We've has pet bunnies. Amadeus and Nelson got along with them just fine. After the last one died, we took in Buddha.
This is a first contact for our dogs to see a real outdoors rabbit this close. I didn't have lots of time to take pictures of this event, so there's no master shots available. But I did choose this one because of Amadeus' intense look. Sissi the Bernese Mountain Dog is also in the picture.
I also took few shots of a woodpecker that was working on a tree in the dog park, but those pictures paled in comparison to this event. And I should have had my real camera and a long lens to get a good picture of the bird.
Again it's time to do lunch, then take the dogs out yet again and head to work. 2 more days of work and then one day off. Almost there. Almost there!
