South Island Robin (NZ)
On the way home from Christchurch today we stopped off to use the public facilities in a National Park area. This wee chap came to visit us. I just love those spindly legs and the quirk of interest indicated by the tilt of its head.
These robins are usually so curious about people that they will come very close and stick around if you talk to them. This wee one hung about for a bit but his friend was shyer and didn't stay long.
NOTE: Thank you all so much for your support yesterday. It was a hard day to face and it helps to know that there are people who care.
