Eventful day's end

This morning a buck deer was laying on our driveway, as I was leaving for Portland. It seemed in no hurry to leave. I thought at first it had perhaps been hurt by a car or a hunter. As I edged closer with the car, it did get up and eventually jumped the fence to the neighbors field. Then a doe appeared and I figured out what was going on... I think about this time last year I blipped a buck also. Usually we just see the moms and fawns. The two of them hung around on the front field all day. I even had a hunter come to the door asking permission to shoot it ( I said NO!) The rose pruning population must continue!
I had several deer shots to choose from. Then the sky was doing interesting things and John voted for this one. Not till I sat on the computer did I remember that it was monomonday.
