Saturday Treat

Ah, it's Saturday. I can almost feel my body relaxing!

I'd like to say I had a lie-in, but you know I didn't! Once I'd done my jobs, I decided once again to venture off for breakfast at Fego's. A bit of an indulgence some might say, but I can't tell you how much I look forward to this little treat. I had this lovely breakfast, and people watched while I was there. I'm quite content sometimes to spend time alone. Of course it's much nicer to have somebody to chat to, and I usually do, but equally, I'm happy-ish to do this sort of thing by myself, rather than miss out, if that makes sense.

After breakfast (the plan being no more food the rest of the day!- no, seriously) I had a wander to the furniture shop I like. It was quite warm, and it was lovely to be outside. I bought a few bedding bits that I wanted, but in the back of my mind I know I'm overspending! Still, I was pleased with it. I popped into Waitrose for a few bits, as I was too lazy to drive out to Sainsburys, although I'm sure it would have been cheaper!

Sister number two came over to Mum's to "help" me with my finances. We sorted a few bits, whilst she preached about NOT SPENDING! I know she's right, but the truth is, buying things make me happy!

I will heed her advice. I don't want to get out of hand. I'm hoping for a pay rise this year, which would help, and I find out next week. I decided to sell a Latin dress I've only worn twice, and bought for £650. I had a skirt made which cost £200, so that should help.

I have a date tonight. We'll see.
