Polar Bear Family on the Move

Our last day in Kaktovik, and what a day! We've had wonderful light, howling cold winds and bears appearing towards us across the ice, twice coming right up to our vehicle. They had to be told to go away!

This family had appeared from way across the ice and after coming up to visit us, took off to the bone pile to see what they could find. Brilliant.

We finished, a grand finale, by finding a Snowy Owl - so beautiful!!! What a huge treat.
