Specialist equipment

I'm a great believer in having kitchen implements that are multi-purpose, but a few specialised tools have crept into my collection. These pasta tongs are only used to serve up pasta, but they make the task so much easier. Blipping them made me realise, however, that I used 3 single purpose implements tonight. The others were a Parmesan grater and a silicone tube that does a great job of peeling garlic cloves.
