Chanonry Beach

Bud is standing here looking totally confused as I had told him that today we were going to Delnies Beach for a treat.

This was planned yesterday in the glorious sunshine. Bailey was coming too, a picnic was prepared the night before. We had high expectations of a fun day out.

Unfortunately "the best laid plans of mice and men often go astray". This time it was very evident that these plans were definitely going to go astray when I woke up to pouring rain lashing down upon the window pane. No-one had thought to look at the weather forecast.

Actually I don't think the dogs were bothered at all. One beach is much the same as another as far as they are concerned. The only real difference is the amount of seaweed that is available for munching. Probably Chanonry wins for them as Delnies is famous for being an extremely clean beach seaweed-wise.

So it's Delnies another day.at least I don't have to cook today as I'm certainly not going to waste the picnic.


How strange, I have just looked at last years entry and...............surprise, surprise it is very similar! - Rosemarkie Beach, seaweed hunting. Things don't change much when you're retired!
