Chanonry Beach

A quick early walk this morning in the sunshine.

I am determined to plant my bulbs today. I do about half a dozen tubs of daffs and tulips every Autumn to put on the decking. This is what I look out onto every day and in the depths of the Winter it is so heartening to see these pots with their bulbs just waiting to burst forth in the Spring. In the snow I imagine them warm and cosy under their blankets and as the green shoots slowly emerge I know that it is a promise of the good times to come.

So today is bulb planting day.
