Well done children.

Our Grandson's school is about 300 yards from a small playpark. The children complained at school that the park was always in a mess with litter, and the equipment was often broken.
The school took this complaint seriously and appointed children to supervise the park with the help of teachers and volunteers. The Headmistress went to the Council for help and they repaired the equipment. In no time at all the park recovered and was a great place to play.
The Council were so impressed that they rewarded the children by completely renovating the park, with new and better equipment and landscaping the grounds.
Now the children have new problems, mainly the parking of cars. There is a car park about 200 yards away and yet people want to park their cars outside of the park gates. The other problem is people walking their dogs in the park.
The school went back to the Council who suggested that the children draw pictures to go with notices which would be put in metal frames and hung around the park.
Job done, and this is my favourite. I do hope it works as the children are so proud of what they have achieved.
