Menagesha

Today Jan brought me to Addis and I met up with D and the surgical team at our favorite Dandi Cafe. Sarah had stayed in Addis last night so that she could surprise me! We went off to Tomoca to stock up on coffee beans and then off in the minibus to the Leonard Cheshire home at Menagesha where Sarah has been working with the Facing Africa patients. Here around the girls' necks you can see the Hama beads and loom bands she's been doing with them.
We had a lovely day, dancing, playing games (sack race, egg and spoon, football). It's always sad to leave them and of course sad to say goodbye to Sarah until December.
Tomorrow D and I are off to Bahir Dar and off on a week's travels. I may not be able to blip for a while.
