We are waiting... along with many, many other people, all using our time in different ways. Some are drinking tea, taking photos and booking dental appointments for spouses with broken teeth (me), some are researching Facing Africa (Sarah), others read, chat, shop or spend their time in queues.

There is another option.. the nice people at Heathrow Terminal 3 have kindly provided a piano for anyone who wants to tinkle the ivories. A surprising number of folk of varying ages and musical abilities have made the most of this opportunity.. I think there should be more pianos in more places. Doctors ' waiting rooms, perhaps?

Flying at 9pm and seven hours later we will be reunited with D :-)
