October Rose

Almost all the 'big' roses in the garden are in flower with their second, limited flush and I assume they will bloom on until the first frost. The smaller of our two Alexanders has only two blooms, but they are gorgeous and withstood last night's torrential rain and wind.

In other news:- Following on from the successful Glenashdale walk, I have just played my first nine holes of golf this year! Did not expect to be able to do it, but so pleased, since this was my card for the family trophy. The other competitors may be less pleased to hear I have joined the field!
