On top of the world

We moored off the island of Lemnos (Northern Greece). Our last day before heading back to leave the Aegean Odyssey in Istanbul.

A very choppy tender ride and we arrived early in Myrina, the capital.

Several of us headed straight for the citadel atop the mountain overlooking the harbour and the neighbouring bay. The climb was steep and really rather slithery in places. I kept stopping to take photos (my excuse).

Trust me, I saw quite a few butterflies (and I'll be checking what they are when I get home). I think there was a clouded yellow but it flew away. A minor frustration in Paradise.
