Hi Tom

It was fashion show night tonight. I ended up with 6 changed outfits. It was great fun. We even had people doing our makeup and hair. I had mine straightened and was surprised at how long it was and how different I looked. Every ticket had been sold which was good as the hall was packed. Hopefully I showed off the clothes well and that Carol has plenty of people popping into her shop to buy something.

I tried my new bike out today. I wasn't sure how to move the gears. I could move them up but not down. Luckily I met Mr Baldwin up the road who knows an awful lot about bikes. I now know how to move them down. It's so much easier to ride this bike than my other one. Now I'm keen to take it out for a much longer distance although I can't see me fitting one in this weekend.

The painting of your bedroom was finished today. It looks really nice. I collected your curtains and I'm going to buy a new rug for your room. I bought two new pillows and your duvet was new anyway. Come Monday it will be completely finished. I'm sure you will be pleased with the end result even though you didn't want me to touch it.

Talking of results I hope you get another win tonight. I doubt I'll be able to stay up and watch your game as I think it's on at 3.00 in the morning. I'll be listening for your text though to let me know his you get on.....good luck x
