Hidden Gem

Finally a dry'ish' day and a chance to get some planting up done. Still a good way to go but the place is looking a bit more organised.

I was doing a bit of pruning and spotted this beauty tucked behind a tree, in the corner of the garden. It wasn't even visible to dog walkers going by on the other side of the wall and it was calling out to be noticed.

If anyone out there is contemplating getting a Scottish Deerhound as part of their family, please be aware that they are dangerous to your health! Imagine having a large sack of potatoes coming at you at over 30 miles an hour.... well that's exactly what happened to me tonight, when Brodie and Fionne decided to run straight into me. I was thrown into the air and landed with a thud in the mud. With a jarred neck, bruised thigh, bashed elbows and dirty clothes, I limped home hoping that nobody would see me.
