Growing up...

Here she is with her birthday sewing machine. First project is a cushion for a friend who has moved away. She's much calmer than I am with it. I'm afraid I've inherited a peculiar thing from mum - machine-sewing sends us both cursing and swearing like nothing else! Give me an old fashioned needle and thread and I'm much calmer!
