Martindale

Lucky to have another day without rain (whenever did that happen in the Lakes when most of the rest of the country has had a wetweek)

We made the most of it with a long day out that ended late afternoon in the remote valley of Martindale. An annual pilgrimage of ours to witness the wild red deer rut and bellowing that echoes around the valley. Its just amazing.

Th eblip is of a barn at Dale End, the very last building in the valley before the vast fells are roamed by the deer.
