Misty morning

When I'm in a hotel I tend to be up early and I go for a walk - you'll have noticed this if you follow my tweets. This morning I watched the sun come up behind the town, lovely but not very photogenic, and watched the mist start rolling back from the sea. I took this at 07:12 according to the exif data but you'll have to remember that as I was west of Bristol I was 10 minutes behind London.

And then a day manning a stand at a conference at Weston college. Each year they bring together their staff who work in prisons, they are the only provider who does this, and celebrate their successes as well as holding workshops. I was there on the OU stand but it was just an excuse to see people I work with in a different environment. Here we didn't have to go through lots of gates and I had my mobile phone and tablet PC to hand. Lovely day but a nasty drive home through the rain and the spray. Now time to get all the electronic kit on charge because tomorrow I'm going to that London for a meeting at the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills - how posh is that?
