Back entrance

I went for a long walk along the valley and was very taken by this back gate. I didn't walk as far as I'd planned because the ground was so muddy it was like a skating rink and the cold and rain were taking some of the shine off the enterprise. Had a chat with someone who was telling me about the birds he'd seen but I think I must have scared them all off.
