Another day, another lost game!
It was the driver's day off today so we had the whole day in Fussen. It was good of these two curlers to show us around their town and impressive of Charlie to wear his national Bavarian dress to escort us. Fussen is a very interesting town with a museum dedicated to the making of lutes and violins, which you can read about here.
The town is also known for its connection to the film "The great Escape", especially the castle, the motorcycle jump scene and the railway station scene which were filmed in and around Fussen. Apart from this, the town today has excellent shops selling quality goods.
We were able to walk to the curling rink, which was part of a big ice stadium that had a large ice-hockey and skating arena. The team I was in, again lost our match, but the score was much closer 7-6. Again we had a great meal and great company after the matches.
