Wallpaper!

This is a photo of the wallpaper in my room. This wallpaper only covers a little section of my room, but it used to cover my whole room. As I got older, I wanted to paint my room different colors. I kept this section of wallpaper, because it is very special to me. Before I was born, when my family was putting together my nursery, my nana and her sister put up this wallpaper. The pasted it all over my room and it took them a while to do. It was Noah’s Ark themed to match the rest of my furniture and decorations in my room, and the theme in my bathroom. I don’t remember exactly what everything looked like, but I get a good idea from looking at old pictures. That special wallpaper has been in my room for almost eighteen years, and except for a few of the corners coming up, it still looks like it has for so many years. I want to keep this wallpaper up as long as it will last. It was a project that my nana, Jean, and her sister, Irene worked very hard on. Since then, they have both passed away. Irene was my nana’s oldest sister and was quite a few years older. Irene passed away when she was about ninety five. She lived a long life and had so many people looking out for her. My nana passed away in June of 2013. Losing her was really hard because she was the person I would go to for everything and she was an amazing woman. This wallpaper helps me to remember them, and the fact that they worked hard on a project for me and they didn’t even meet me yet. It showed me their love for me.
