Sullivan Creek - logjam construction

So after 2months of in-stream construction, we have one last project being built. I have to admit while I am looking forward to less travel, lower Sullivan Creek is a pretty nice project site in mid-October. Seattle City Light (SCL) is installing two logjam in the lower creek near the confluence with the Pend Orielle River to create deep pools, improve instream habitat, and encourage a multi-channel network.

PS - Did you know the Boundary hydro-power provides 2/3 of the power for Seattle?
