Wait your Turn!

I have been watching this cardinal all year and he seems to be the backyard boss. If he is on the bird feeder, he won’t allow anyone else on it. In this photo, he seems to be reminding the sparrow that he is in charge, and she must wait…

I used the National Geographic Backyard bird identifier and I believe this is some sort of sparrow. If someone knows differently, please feel free to correct me. :-)

I am very happy with the fast autofocus and the 11 fps continuous shooting mode on the new camera. I was also pretty happy with this shot.
