GIANT WATERDROP
on the leaves. No wonder since there was plenty of rain today.
In the morning Piet Hein and I sorted out Piet Hein's socks. An easy task?
Which had to stay in The Hague, which will accompany us to Germany and which will end their existence as socks right here and now.
Then there are summer- and wintersocks. The pair that his grandmother had knitted for him stole my heart! And a typical green pair that were used on our first mountain trips and the ones that were warm at ice skating.
It took us some time but the process was done with a warm heart.
Some other little tasks that still had to be done I performed too and when Mischa came to drink tea with us, we were satisfied with what was done.
Of course Mischa has to move too and till she actually will be able to start she has that frightened feeling if everything would go well and smoothly.
She cites with enthusiasm that after divorce and death, moving to a new home is a major stress factor. Well, I certainly know that now by experience.
My haiku:
Magnifying small
Events or fears to giant
Proportions why not?
And the Ashanti proverb:
No one tests the depth of a river with both feet.
