Low cloud

I had to go to Stow-on-the Wold today, and driving along the top of the Cotswold Edge I needed fog lights. On the way back I came down Saintbury Hill hoping to take a shot of the Vale from my favourite vantage point, but it would have been a very pale grey pic because the visibility was only a few yards.

This is taken from the bottom of the hill between Saintbury and Weston-sub-Edge, looking up the Edge but seeing very little of it because of the cloud sitting heavy on the escarpment.
