Radio mast

This radio mast stands on the hill opposite the house. I remember once seeing the parents of a child I was teaching who had Asperger's syndrome. Obsessional interests can be a characteristic of the condition. At the time there was speculation that there was a hereditary element to the syndrome. I was intrigued to meet the parents who seemed normal and ordinary. In polite conversation about recent holidays, dad recounted with enthusiasm how they had spent the time on a grand tour of the country completing his photographic collection of radio masts. There is a fine line between enthusiasm and obsession as my wife often reminds me!
The morning was spent with a plumber and the deputy mayor seeing if a heating system could be transferred from a condemned block of flats to the church. The good news is that it can and we would only have to pay for the installation. However, the cost could be prohibitive. We shall see.
