Hamilton Gardens

We went to Hamilton this afternoon, Ian was due for his surgery on his right shoulder to repair the tendons. He needed to be at the hospital at 4pm for his 5pm surgery but as he hates being late we arrived in Hamilton way to early!!
Hadn't been to the gardens for years so a good chance to check it out. They have a number of different themed gardens, this Indian garden took my fancy with its beds of vibrant orange and yellow flowers and Indian styled architecture.

Got to the hospital, still with plenty of time to spare. After had had been admitted and was waiting to see the docs, I left to head home before I got caught in the 5 oclock traffic. Haven't heard yet how it all went, but will call shortly.

Couldn't believe how many amazing comments I got about yesterdays image...it even hit the spotlight, very briefly in the last spot, but that was a thrill.
