Miles had his first school field trip today! They got to ride a real school bus to a local farm to learn about pumpkins and potatoes. Miles had a great time on the bus and as soon as we got there the kids took a hayride to the pumpkin patch to pick out one pumpkin. After the ride the kids went in a potato barn (and said it was stinky!). After that they got to run in a hay maze and play on a playground before getting back on the bus. Tonight for dinner Miles helped me wash and cook 3 different kind of potatoes we got from the farm today. He was a great little cook and then we had a taste test on which potato was our favorite. I picked the yellow, dad picked the purple, and Miles picked all three. They went great with the steak Dad made too. During dinner Miles told us he needed to eat his veggies so he can grow big. Proof that he does listen to us.
