Grey

It has been a grey grey day today, so it seemed ok to blip some grey!

I am making a long term quilt out of my scraps, each hexagon here has sides if 1 inch, so it will take a while to be able to cover a king size bed! I have pieced about 150 hexagons so far, and my intention is to see them in diamonds of 9 hexagons, each from the same colour family and tone. You would think that with 150 done I'd have a few sets of 9 matching. But this is the one and only so far. Given the weather today grey tones seem very appropriate.

Went to my sewing class for 2 hours this morning and had to have a nap on the settee this afternoon, but think I am still improving.
