Old and in decay

A cold wind blowing took the edge off a sunny day. I set out deciding that I would not linger long over taking a picture for today. In the end, I took more than I did on the previous two days.

Once again, the photo that I thought would appear got nudged out of contention by something taken near the end of my walk.

I spotted this wicker basket in a front garden on Cherry Street and applied a degree of desaturation to the image, in Photoshop CS3, to give it more tired and worn look, befitting the subject.
