European hazel

- grows near Tyven in abundance.

I love the translucent yellow of its autumn colour. The foliage and the arching branches give also a beautiful shape to the tree - or bush.

Yesterday A dug up two little plants of these and we planted them into our garden. Hopefully they will have time to put down roots before the frost sets in.
