A Titanic Memory.

25 years old John George Phillips was the Chief Wireless Telegraphist on the Titanic when it sank on 15th April 1912. Having left the ship two minutes before it sank, he never made it into a lifeboat. His body was never recoverd. A Godalming lad, the locals opened a park in his memory alongside the river Wey in the town. Well worth a visit on a sunny day.
