Pumpkin Patch

Today was YES day! My kids have been working hard to fill my hypothetical bucket, which is a mayonnaise jar. When the kids listen the first time, treat others with kindness, or pick up without being asked, I drop a glass pebble into the jar. Today it is full.

On Yes Day whatever the kids ask, as long as it follows our safety and monetary guidelines, the answer is "yes!" Mia wanted to go to the pumpkin patch. Nobody else wanted to, so she and I went all by ourselves. We had a great time! We were the only two on the hayride out to the patch. We picked out three big pumpkins and three little ones. Back at the farm, Mia pushed them up to the size-meter. All of the pumpkins were well within our budget.
