Relaxation!

We were up early this morning because the hot air balloons were scheduled to go up at 7 am. Unfortunately, again too windy. Here is a photo of where we were ready to shoot from. The two guys on the right are new friends that Don has gotten to know virtually through Capture Minnesota and are now real friends. One of them lives in Duluth so we all went across the border to Wisconsin (which you can see there in the distance!).
We went to beautiful Amnicon Falls State Park where we took a walk to see a number of water falls. I spent most of the time just walking and sitting around, watching the water flow. This was one of my favorite spots. I love how the roots of these old trees are above ground making interesting designs. A wonderfully relaxing day!
Again this evening the balloons didn't go up, not quite sure why.
