Capturing the Crowd

I spotted this young lady at the Taste of DC Festival, as she climbed high up on some planters to get a photo of the crowd. She is at Freedom (Pulaski) Park looking down toward the Capitol.

Taste of DC is a two-day culinary and cultural festival that packs many people into five blocks of Pennsylvania Avenue for food from area restaurants, great drinks, and lively entertainment. We were in town for another event this afternoon and walked by this area.

Her camera case was a bright pink color and I thought about cleverly making just the case pink in this shot, but had to forego being clever because I actually don’t know how to do it. Perhaps after my Lightroom class next weekend.
