Beach Lady (87)

She shouted me over and said we were both daft to be out in the cold weather. She told me she used to come here on holiday with her husband, years ago. Now she was on her own and she had come back to visit, just for a short break. The hotel where she was staying was very friendly, she had a room to herself, and the food was excellent. She thought she'd been here for a few months, or maybe it was years, time passes so quickly these days, and she wasn't very sure how long she'd stay. She'd quite like to go home sometime this week, but it all depended on whether she could persuade the hotel staff to let her leave.
