Mummy Survival Package

A good friend is in hospital at the moment with viral meningitis. She has young children and today is her daughter's birthday.

Together with a group of friends, we have made her a hospital survival bag. I took her some biscuits, fresh fruits, sweets, cakes and crisps. I also included a wedding magazine, which I later found out was her first one towards her forthcoming wedding. And there was also the all important lip gloss, mascara and nail varnish to help her keep her sparkle.

We also managed to get each of her children to create their own card, write in it and took it in to her.

All being well, our friend will be out before the weekend and back with her family. Get well soon lovely xxx
