Saturday: History of the Croats

Mestrovic must have been Croatia's most prolific sculptor.  Every sculpture around the country seems to be one of his, including this one, entitled 'History Of The Croats', located outside the Law Faculty.  

I had a lazyish start to the day and finished reading 'Slightly Foxed 43: 'The Flight In The Heather'.  They are always such delightful reads - the downside is that I always end up with so many books on my 'to read' list.

After that, I spent some time running errands, including in a large shopping mall (not good) and in town (good).  The weather was beautiful - we are having  a real Indian summer.  I made sure I made the most of it by having lunch (sushi) out.
