Culross

Today a longer run around Edinburgh culminated in a finish in Princess Street Gardens in the shadow of Edinburgh Castle. We enjoyed our runs despite having to climb up many flights of steps up to the castle and then back down again.

We had to then move base to Stirling for tomorrow's race. A detour over the Forth bridge to Culross allowed us to wander around this well preserved sixteenth century village on the Firth and Forth.

We enjoyed looking around Culross Palace and this view over the village was taken from the terraced gardens.
