The days of Cockenzie coal fired power station are now numbered as its demolition is apparently schedule for this autumn. I am hoping that somebody will find out exactly when this is due to happen as it will be widely blipped execution if it happens in the hours of daylight?

Running on the beach this morning was a delight. The hive of early morning weekend activity - cycling, running, rowing, boot-camping, dog walking and kiddies scootering reminded me that half term has arrived in Edinburgh and the seaside holiday feel is back,

Our new sanded floors sparkled their stunning welcome as we came down stairs this morning. The improvement has exceeded our expectations. Tiggy thinks the floors are so good that she wants to keep the rooms furniture free now! Unexepcted outcome!!
