A day of two halves

Hardly the best wake up realising all those people in Essex have been taken in by UKIP. Rusty spikes against a union flag seemed about right. Also this morning my annual diabetic check. No worse but still not well enough controlled, so yet more medication and an upping of the dose of statins. How great it this growing old lark? Not!
But then I heard the Nobel peace prize news :-) :-) :-). And it is a nice blue sky. And our Who tickets arrived. And things that were going badly earlier in the week are looking a bit brighter and it's Friday!!!
