Change of plan

Well all that drawing of lines on a chart and when we finally got in the air (fog bound for an hour and a half but lucky to catch a plane that had been cancelled in the next slot) we had to turn round near Harrogate as there was a bank of low cloud ahead. Malham Cove will have to wait for another day.
Anyway all was not lost, we headed in the opposite direction and flew over York and the Humber Bridge before returning. My friend Herabans and her friend Simon enjoyed her 50th birthday treat care of Commander EAnn enormously.
And in the evening a splendid meal with friends who we hadn't seen together since we were in Italy in June.
An all round fantastic day.
