Our Newest Addition, Meet Dillon

It seemed like forever before 3:30 came today and we could head over to the airport to pick up our new puppy. The breeder lives in California so Dillon had a long flight over to New Jersey today. We were sitting in the pick up area waiting for them to bring his crate in and we felt like expectant parents! All of a sudden I was nervous that I would know how to do everything.
When we first saw him he was so quiet and shy. It didn't take long for him to perk up though. He was on my lap for the car ride home from the airport and he started licking my face and biting my shirt. We were standing outside the house with Dillon when my granddaughter, Nadia, came home from daycare. Dillon was so excited to see her. He really love kids. My grandson will be here tomorrow so I'm sure Dillon will get plenty of attention.
Right now he is laying between my husband and myself on the sofa and he is sound asleep. It's been a long day for him.
