I smile at Edinburgh and Edinburgh smiles at me...
If anyone sees me wandering about in daylight tomorrow, please remind me to take a picture! Today I only took a couple of pictures with my phone while loitering with intent, in Princes Street Gardens where I will often sit contemplating and dreaming, deciding what to do with my day. I can sit there for ages watching people kill time for trains, finish off notes/reading for homework, eating their sandwiches or walking round the park several times as their exercise for the day. This picture is looking out from underneath the Scott Monument over Waverley to the skyline of the old town.
When I eventually floated away from my bench, I drifted towards a tram stop but as I could see a number 11 bus heading up the road so I decided to catch it to the Ocean Terminal for a late lunch and a trip to the cinema.
Today I watched Gone Girl. I just about managed to stay awake in it but I must admit, I thought it was a massive waste of time! I won't say anything else for fear of putting anyone else off going to see it. I just think there are probably loads of better ways to spend a couple of hours. I can certainly think of a thing or two...
I couldn't believe it was pitch black outside when I emerged from the cinema and after a trip to M&S for some munchies, I caught the bus back home and am now thinking of tomorrow with the telly burbling away in the background.
Track? I haven't heard this one for ages but I give 100% any day. Here is a classic song from Janis Joplin - Piece Of My Heart
