Torrential rain stopped me getting the bus to mum but luckily she was able to get a lift so hung out at mine before we went up to the hospital for her appointment. We spent a lot of time playing Tetris on the N64, it was a good distraction and I didn't think about my aversion to the hospital until we arrived, my first time in the 364 days since losing Dad there.
All was good with mums blood/platelet count and we had a nice dinner with Luke before mum went home.

These flowers were a gift from Sarah and Greg and the birdcage was something I brought for my birthday with money from mum and dad a couple of years ago.
