October Word Challenge Day 9: Wood

As soon as I saw the challenge topic I knew I would blip this. It is something my Grandmother purchased on one of her trips to America where she went often to see my Aunt & Family. I think I recall her telling me it was carved by an American Indian.

It is carved from a really lovely twisted and gnarly piece of wood and I remember always being drawn to it when visiting her.

Today I have enjoyed a day off and managed to get some things done at home. I also hitched a lift into town with My nearly Husband so I could go to the gym. I am feeling really good being back at the gym, enjoying the return of muscles I used to have and that enjoyable post gym pain.
