Adorable Ewok forced to walk home in rain!
Very wet and rainy today, Ivy walked most of the way home from the high school under her own steam altough she did sit in a puddle and her coat was soaked through by the time we got home. I shudder to think about what happens if you sit in a puddle in a disposable nappy, I suspect the whole thing would be absorbed....
At playgroup this morning, Ivy spotted the tables being cleared in preperation for snack and ran away from action songs to go and climb on the chair all ready. She's a smart cookie, she knows at what point she'll get fed. Part of snack was buttered homemade fruit cake, Ivy ate hers and then tried to steal from both of the children next to her.
We went for a walk across the river after lunch, it's up very very high and going really fast. Ivy wanted out of the carrier to look, but I didn't trust her not to jump in and I didn't fancy a trip to the isle of Lewis to try and retrieve her.
Went to the library after school to change books, popped in to see Euan. Ivy was very pleased, but refused to say goodbye to him and clung to his legs and whimpered. Which was both adorable and heartbreaking.
We had spaghetti for dinner, I love watching Ivy eat spaghetti. She finished her bowl and had seconds before being given a bannana for pudding.
