Change

These three pictures represent different changes and they were all taken today at differing times.

The first shows a field - but when I first came to this village this was a pear orchard and the poplars on the horizon had a bank of firs in front. That was some 35 years ago. The firs were lost in the storms of the 1980's and I think the pear orchard went somewhat earlier. The field is now sown and cropped but also used as a point to point ground - hence the White fencing.

The harvesting of the corn signifies an obvious change to the local landscape.

The building is the Old Court House in Wiveliscombe a few miles away. I doubt that the exterior has changed that much and whilst the interior is much as it was many years ago there have been changes.

My day - morning walk, mid day visit to the local butchers and evening walk with Luce and each had some evidence of change!!!
